Have you ever wondered where witchcraft and alcohol intertwine? Come by for experimental fermentation, folklore, mythology and a generally good time of exploring global community histories and how they relate to our food practices.
F3Lab: Salty Tales is a course and workshop for those who are new or passionate about fermentation alike.
F3Lab was born from research into cross-generational food practices and geographic traditional knowledge in immigrant families.
So it is a collection of fermentation methodologies collected across the world, and together we will apply them to local ingredients which might have never before been fermented that way- and together explore some magical worlds of recipe testing and textures.
Bring your grandparents or any elderly or cross generational figure in your life that has passed traditional knowledge down to you! Speaking english is NOT a prerequisite - this experiment is also often about experiencing how food bridges language barriers.
